About Us

We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2017, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Nonprofit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Our Mission for the Adult Program
Our Mission is to help those who want to help themselves who have become displaced as a result of substance abuse and addiction, and struggling with life’s problems. Our Adult Residential Facilities (ARF) are facilities of any capacity that provide 24-hour non-medical care for adults ages 18 through 59. This program is geared toward helping homeless individuals, veterans, and men and women that are non-violent crime offenders, seeking a structured re-entry program from incarceration that is in a safe environment for drug and alcohol rehabilitation. Here at Helping Hands of Southern California, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our decision-making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high-quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all our pursuits.
Our Mission for the Children Program
The core of our program consists of the appropriate use of high expectations. Our main objectives is to provide the minors in our facility with essential skills needed to survive as an adult in our society. Additionally, we plan to stress the importance of education as well as the implementation of entrepreneurial fundamentals. We will also provide each minor with specialized training on domestic violence, anger management, teen abuse, parenting intervention programs etc.
Like in any home, the standard of appropriate behavior is set and then re-emphasized in a family oriented environment, through social interaction and discipline. The acceptance of this is a minimum requirement for minors in our facility. We choose to reward exceptional behavior and encourage our minors by way of rewarding achievements in academic and social endeavors.
Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Helping Hands of Southern California, and a source of much success for our Nonprofit Organization.
